Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission – APSPSC invites online applications from apspsc.gov.in in prescribed form from Indian nationals for filling up the following Computer Draughtsman Grade – I Post in A.P. Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service:
Computer Draughtsman Grade – I: 70 Posts
Age: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 36 Years (as on 01/07/2011)
Pay Scale: Rs. 9,460– 27,700/-
Qualification:
Must have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad OR its equivalent examination as prescribed from time to time in sub-rule (2) of Rule 12 of Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996. AND (ii) Must have obtained National Council of Vocational Training Certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade (Two years Course with Surveying as one of the subject) in any Industrial Training Institute recognized by the Government of India.
Selection Procedure:
The Written Examination will be held at Hyderabad only. The Written Examination will be held on 20/05/2012.
Application Fee: (Remittance of Fee) Each applicant must pay Rs. 100 towards Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee RS.80/ (if Candidates are not exempted from payment of Fee). Payment of Rs. 100/- towards application processing fee is compulsory for all Applicants. The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance.

DRDO Technical, Admin Assistants and Technicians Jobs 2012

Center for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM), DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) has announced recruitment notification 2012 for the posts of Senior Technical Assistants, Technician and Administrative Assistants in various departments and centers of the organisation. Here are other details like number of posts, eligibility and application procedure:

1) Senior Technical Assistants: 227 posts. Eligibility: Applicants should have Degree / Diploma in concerned discipline / subject.

2) Technician: 119 posts. Qualification: Candidates should have passed in 10th Class along with ITI in concerned trade.

3) Administrative Assistant: 260 posts. Eligibility: Applicants need qualifications based on the post applied for. For Hindi Assistants, candidates need PG in English / Hindi along with two years experience in Translation. For Store and Administrative Assistant vacancies, you must have passed in 10th class along with English / Hindi typing skills of 35 wpm. For civil driver posts, candidates need driving licence for light / heavy vehicle driving along with pass in 10th class.

Writ filed against VRA exams by state

The government had issued a notification to recruit 1,172 village revenue officers and 6,063 village revenue assistants post across the state and the written test was conducted on February 19, 2012. Mr K. Ravinder, president of the reservations protection struggle organisation filed the writ urging the court to to set aside the proceedings initiated by the CCLA to appoint VRAs and to declare the notification as illegal.

 A writ petition was filed in the AP High Court by a social worker from Karimnagar district seeking a direction to the state government not to proceed with the recruitment of Village Revenue Assistants (VRA) pursuant to a notification issued on November 30, 2011.
